3D/2D Designer and Multi-media Producer

A multi-format designer and multi-media producer who bridges across creative, technical and organisational disciplines with a rare & diverse blend of experience and talent.  Experienced in working with all kinds of organisations from global corporations through SME’s to entrepreneurial ventures from both a staff member and freelance perspective. 

Background

My background spans production and installation of print and photographic P.O.S retail display for clients such as Arcadia and Nike; electronic engineering with the M.O.D; and production management/editor/compliance roles for Discovery Channel, UKTV and C4.

In 2005, sparked by a product idea I had, I went 'back to school' and undertook BSc (Hons) Engineering Product Design in order to bind together my range of experience in Print Media, Display, Electronic Engineering and TV Production & Programming, and become a holistic Designer. I gained a First Class Honours and following that, was offered funding to develop an electrical distribution product called AllSocket System under the LSBU Enterprise Associate scheme during which time I also gained a Distinction for MSc in Enterprise.

I want always to keep exploring new technologies, techniques and materials.  I relish discovering potential cross-functions for new technologies and utilising them for every day objects and processes that can make life easier for people and their every day tasks, improving the quality of our lives with spaces and objects that enhance our experience and nurture our relationship with our environment.

With an abundance of enterprise and initiative, I will inject fresh ideas and energy to every project or task undertaken. An inquisitive critical thinker, I seek to achieve maximum efficiency and quality through innovation, intelligence and experience.

I have a particularly strong track record in areas of change management; establishing new processes, new product development, knowledge transfer and team training, as I have an ability to see the big picture together with an unrivalled ability to pick up new skills and adapt to change.

Pragmatic problem solving skills, high moral principles and a supportive, communicative and helpful nature make me a popular figure among peers and colleagues, and I believe I make a positive impact on every project I contribute to.
