Product

Shaped aerosol can concept with inserts for deodorant and shower gel. The caps would be magnetised so the pack can be stuck to metallic parts of the shower.

Background

This was a quick concept sketch and CAD model in response to the D&AD brief, which was to design new aerosol-based product that better expresses the brand through its look, feel and above all function. I chose Lynx, whose incredibly successful marketing campaing 'The Lynx Effect' turned it around from "about as cool as Roger Moore in a safari suit", to the world's best selling male grooming product. The campaign expresses the brand through comedy by exaggerating the product's effect on women, and so 'The Chick Magnet' would exemplify this and could spawn a whole new series for the campaign of women being magnetically attracted to any male who uses it.
